On September 22, Changan Qiyuan E07 officially opened the pre-sale, and the pre-sale price is 24.99-31 9,900 yuan. It is understood that Qiyuan E07 is positioned as a medium and large SUV, which is the first "digital intelligence new car" built by Changan based on the SDA architecture. It is the first product of Changan Qiyuan E0 series, providing range extension and pure electric power options.

In terms of appearance, the overall design of Changan Qiyuan E07 is more avant-garde, the roof line forms a more obvious slip, and the whole vehicle has a certain crossover SUV style. The front of Changan Qiyuan E07 is equipped with a C-shaped LED light group and a fully enclosed front panel. It also provides a black roof rack, semi-enclosed rims, hidden door handles, etc. The tail lights show a circular through effect after lighting. The biggest design highlight of the new car is that its trunk is a closed space in the normal state, but it can be electrically opened to the open trunk state, and it is a pickup truck in the fully open state. The maximum power of the front and rear motors of the dual-motor version is 188 kW and 252 kW respectively, and it is equipped with a ternary lithium battery pack. Qiyuan E07 extended range version is equipped with a 1.5T range extender, with a maximum power of 110 kW, and the maximum power of the extended range two-wheel drive version is 231 kW; the maximum power of the motor before and after the extended range four-wheel drive version is 131 kW and 231 kW respectively. The extended range version is equipped with a battery pack with a capacity of 39.05 kWh, and provides pure electric battery life of 185 kilometers and 200 kilometers.

The appearance of Changan Qiyuan E07 is indeed very recognizable. The expandable trunk is a unique feature of this car, which can retain a large passenger space while also showing a certain sense of technology. As one of its main selling points, the trunk that can switch between SUV and pickup truck is relatively novel, which is expected to better meet the needs of outdoor enthusiasts. However, the E07 eliminates the physical instrument screen and integrates common functions into the central control screen, which is not friendly for some traditional users.

It is understood that Changan Qiyuan is the fourth product series after Changan, Auchan, and UNI, and is also the only Xingneng automobile brand series under Changan Automobile. At present, four models of A07, A05, Q05, and E07 have been launched. According to the data of the Passenger Federation, from January to August 2024, Changan Qiyuan sold a total of 94,228 vehicles, of which A07 was 36,409, A05 was 28,786, and Q05 was 24,175.

In the new energy vehicle market, Changan Automobile has already covered the low-to-high-end market, among which the main high-end market is Avita, the mid-to-high-end market is Deep Blue Automobile, and the mainstream market is Changan Qiyuan. However, according to the current development of domestic new energy vehicles, the road to transformation of Changan new energy vehicles will not be very smooth, and more bloody market competition is still in front of Changan Automobile.
