American politicians who have been criticized by the international community as "rules" cheat the world.

The Foreign Ministers’ Meeting of the Group of Seven recently concluded in London. As expected, China once again became the "shadow protagonist" of the conference. US Secretary of State Blinken claimed at the meeting that the purpose of the United States is not to contain or suppress China, but to strive to maintain the international order based on "rules". This is ridiculous! As the biggest destroyer of the international order, where does the United States come from to ask other countries to abide by the international order? Who does the so-called "international order" serve?
Since the new American administration took office in January this year, it has always talked about "rules" and "international order", acting like a flag bearer of multilateralism. But a hundred days later, the outside world was disappointed but not surprised to find that the rules mentioned by the US were just "hegemonic rules" and "small circle rules"; What the United States calls multilateralism is nothing more than "group politics" to win over allies. In other words, compared with its predecessor’s naked pursuit of unilateralism, the current government has put on a banner of "multilateralism" to deceive the world, but it is not different in essence, and it is all an attempt to make other countries succumb to the unipolar world order dominated by the United States.
Take the principle of non-interference in internal affairs as an example. This is an important principle of the Charter of the United Nations and a basic norm of international relations. But has the United States always interfered in other countries’ internal affairs? At the G7 foreign ministers’ meeting, the United States once again rallied its allies to make irresponsible remarks about China’s internal affairs, such as claiming to set up a so-called "Friends of Hong Kong" organization to share relevant information and concerns. Is interfering in other countries’ internal affairs the "international order" maintained by the US?
The United States has long ignored the basic principle of international law prohibiting the illegal use or threat of force, and waged wars against sovereign countries many times. In 2003, the United States planted a small bottle of white washing powder on Iraq and attacked Iraq without the authorization of the United Nations, causing hundreds of thousands of casualties. Is it the "international order" maintained by the United States to export turmoil and war in violation of international law?

In addition, the United States regards international organizations as a playground to come and go whenever it wants, openly coercing WHO, WTO, etc., and "using them together or abandoning them if they disagree" with international rules. According to United Nations statistics, as of early April, the United States still owed $1.237 billion to the United Nations, accounting for half of the total arrears of Member States. How can the United States, which refuses to fulfill its international obligations, talk about "international order"?
There is only one international system in the world, that is, the international system with the United Nations as the core; There is only one set of global rules, that is, the basic norms of international relations based on the United Nations Charter. Only those countries in the United States and the West who easily use "rules" to oppress people should truly abide by international rules.
In fact, in evaluating this G7 foreign ministers’ meeting, many international media and analysts used the word "elimination" in unison. For example, the website of "European Observer" emphasizes that G7 should be eliminated, which is completely a "legacy" of the past. Martin jacques, a famous British scholar, wrote, "Goodbye, G7. You used to dominate the world, but now you are just a smaller and smaller part of the world. "
It’s not wrong that foreign ministers of G7 will get such comments. It pretends to be a so-called global decision-making team, but it does not focus on the three most urgent problems facing the world — — Anti-epidemic, environmental protection and economic recovery, on the contrary, point fingers at many domestic affairs and make group politics become the mainstream of meetings, which is tantamount to reversing history.

At the beginning of this year, G7 leaders issued a joint statement and vowed that "2021 will be the turning point of multilateralism". However, as it turns out, the so-called multilateralism of G7 just defines the international rules with the rules of a few countries and replaces the international order with the order of a few countries, which is totally "pseudo-multilateralism".
The world today needs true multilateralism. As the Supreme Leader of president, China, stressed when talking to UN Secretary-General Guterres on the 6th, "all countries should act according to the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, and should not engage in unilateralism and hegemonism, or engage in ideological confrontation in the name of multilateralism". Such a sound is what the world at a new crossroads really needs. (International Critical Commentator)
